Second Grade – Back to School Supply List Greetings to our newest Second Grade Monarchs and their families! Second grade is such a rewarding year and we are looking forward to sharing it with you! We hope you have a restful summer vacation filled with wonderful experiences. We are very excited about the upcoming year and all it has to offer. Below is a list of requested donations we hope your child will be able to provide at the beginning of the year. Daily Student Supplies Needed (These supplies were specifically chosen based on the needs of our 2nd grade curriculum and the size constraints of desks and classroom furniture. Please look for these specific supplies whenever possible) Crayola Crayons 24 count box Crayola Colored Pencils 12 count Crayola Washable Markers, fat, pointed and basic colors 8-10 Count 1 Bottle of white, Elmer’s Washable School Glue (4 oz.) 1 pair of children’s scissors- Fiskars 24 or more Ticonderoga #2 Pencils, not decorative please A pack of 6 or more standard glue sticks 2 + pack of Magic Rub Erasers, white A box of standard pencil top erasers A 4 pack of Expo Markers, black, thick and low odor 1 Black, Fine Sharpie Marker 1 Black, Ultra fine Sharpie Marker 1 Composition Book, Black Marble cover, Wide Ruled 2 Boxes of Kleenex Tissue 2 Containers of disinfectant wipes (not baby wipes) 2 Reams of White Copy paper 1 box of Ziploc sandwich baggies 1 box of Ziploc gallon baggies 1 box of Band-Aid bandages-Latex Free Additional Classroom Supplies Needed (Feel free to donate 1 or more items listed below.) If possible, please plan to bring your supplies the first day of school so we can get ourselves organized and ready for academic learning.
