Once in flight, they use thermals and air currents to help them save energy. Birds are a good example on how animals conserve water and energy. The WEB program is part of the Center’s Eagle Eyes on the Environment initiative. The Eagle Eyes program engages participants in learning and actions related to water, energy and habitat conservation. Here Are Few Things You Can Do To Save Water, Energy & Birds SAVE WATER Fo l Turn off water when brushing your teeth, take shorter showers, and check for leaks. Use dishwashers and washing machines for full loads only. l SAVE ENERGY ow Turn off unnecessary lights, electronic devices, and appliances. Adjust the thermostat for optimal temperature. Reduce your carbon footprint. Th eP Bald Eagle ath Collect rain water during rainstorms for watering your plants on drier days and dry your clothes using a clothes line. It will save you money! Low Energy & Water Consumption REUSE & RECYCLE W To BE SMART High at er CARPOOL Carpool or cycle to work whenever possible. Use mass transportation and leave the car at home.
