It’s All Connected
To reduce weight,
migratory birds must
gather only the right
amount of water and
food to complete their
journey.
Once in flight, they
use thermals and air
currents to help them
save energy. Birds are a
good example on how
animals conserve water
and energy.
The WEB program is part of the Center’s Eagle Eyes on the Environment
initiative. The Eagle Eyes program engages participants in learning and
actions related to water, energy and habitat conservation.

START A GARDEN
Take action and follow the path of conservation for
a sustainable future, with moderate use of water and
energy and by providing suitable habitat for wildlife.
The map above shows the electric
energy consumption around the
world in shades of green. With
darker green being the highest consumers. The blue dots represents
the countries with the largest water
withdrawal.

Plant native drought tolerant trees
and shrubs mixed with fruit bearing plants that can be used by our
native wildlife.Your garden will
provide food and shelter for them.
Take your friends to bird watch
or visit a local nature center. Tell
