What to expect when you visit
At our centres we have containers for different recyclable materials. To make your visit
easier and quicker please sort your materials at home. All items for recycling should
be clean. Our staff will be happy to help you in any way they can.

Leading social enterprise Bryson Recycling is
now managing six Recycling Centres in County
Donegal, located at: Letterkenny, Milford, Stranorlar,
Carndonagh, Laghey and Dungloe.
Recycling (charge applies)
• Paper is recycled into egg boxes.
• Glass is melted down and used to make new bottles
A wide range of items are collected for
recycling and we also accept garden
and household waste.

• Plastics are used to make pipes for the agricultural,
civil engineering, and construction industries.
• Aluminium cans are melted down and used to make
ingots that contain enough metal to make 1.5 million
new drink cans.

✘ Plastic wrapping, bags, films, toys or plant pots.
• Hand tools are sent to Africa for reuse.
Recycling charges:
€1 – standard black bin bag (this may contain smaller bags of sorted
paper, cardboard, cartons and household plastic packaging).
€4 – standard car. €8 – large car. €8 – car and trailer (6" 4").
Vans will be charged based on level of load.
€2 per standard black bin bag.
Bulky items
Disposal of bulky waste will be charged for per item (cost will depend on size).
€10 charge: small items of furniture, such as a bedside table or dining room
chair, ironing board, toilet, cistern, sink, single mattress, pram/buggy and blinds.
€20 charge: large items of furniture, e.g. armchair, wardrobe, sofa, cot or
double bed, shower tray, door, double mattress and carpet/linoleum per roll.
Payment can be made in cash or by credit/debit cards at each site.
Household waste
Household waste is accepted
at each site at a cost of €3 per
standard black bin bag.
