Yes, Spain, England, and France sent explorers
to the New World. Portugal explored West
Africa.
Was a lack of adequate supplies an
accomplishment of exploration?
No, this was an obstacle along with disease,
starvation, inadequate tools, and boats that
were tool small
Were the explorers able to improve
their ships and navigational tools?
Yes, experience and time helped the explorers
create better navigational tools and design
better boats
