Thank you to our Cypress families for taking the time to respond to our 2014 Parent Survey. This
information is an integral part of planning for our school’s future and the coming school year. The survey
showed a high level of satisfaction among parents and an overwhelming majority of parents (85.5%) report
that they are satisfied at Cypress Elementary. Please take a moment to review the respondents’
satisfaction with the school’s leadership, instructional program, and other aspects of our school. Thank you

I am satisfied with the nutrition/health/physical education
standards at Cypress (outside of the district-run school
lunch program).
The Cypress office staff handles the inquiries and concerns
of Cypress families in a timely manner.
School-parent communication is ongoing and effective.
Teacher-parent communication is ongoing and effective.
I enjoy "Paw Prints," the "PTA NewsBlast" and the school
website.
I have adequate opportunities to have a voice in school

Our teachers stress academic achievement as the most
important priority for their students.

As a group and in general, the professional abilities of
teachers at Cypress are very good.

Appropriate emphasis is placed on basic skill areas

Teachers inform us of standards and expectations for their
