† Call to Worship (Psalm 34)
Rejoice in God always. Come into God’s presence with thanksgiving.
We rejoice in our God!
Worship the One whose steadfast love endures forever.
We rejoice in Christ our Savior.
Remember the Lord, for it is God who has owns the cattle on a thousand hills and who
makes provision for our every need.
We rejoice in God’s abundance. Thanks be to God for his never ending care.

† Unison Prayer
God of the ages, we thank you and praise you for leading us through the journey
of life. Lead us in this time of worship, that we may hear your voice and know
your ways. Be present in our worship and in our lives, that our paths may be
pleasing in your sight. In your Holy name we pray. Amen.
Children’s Message
Congregation: Please join us in singing Jesus Loves Me.
(Children may remain in worship or attend our Happy Club or Children’s Church)
† Passing of the Peace
Remembering Those Members Who Died
As names are read, please respond: Thanks be to God for the life of this faithful saint!
Prayer:
We give you thanks, O God, for all the saints who ever worshiped you, whether
in brush arbors or cathedrals, weathered wooden churches or crumbling cement
meeting houses. Where your name was lifted and adored.
We give you thanks, O God, for hands lifted in praise: manicured hands and
hands stained with grease or soil, strong hands and those gnarled with age, holy
hands used as wave offerings across the land.
We thank you, God, for hardworking saints; Whether hard-hatted or steelbooted, head ragged or aproned, blue-collared or three-piece-suited. They left
their mark on the earth for you, for us, for our children to come.
Thank you, God, for the tremendous sacrifices made by those who have gone
before us. Bless the memories of your saints, God. May we learn how to walk
wisely from their examples of faith, dedication, worship, and love. Amen!
