party by the servant.
6. Lady Capulet and Nurse talk w/ Juliet about
marrying Paris.

party.
8. R & J meet at the party/fall in love at first
sight.
9. Tybalt sees R at party but prevented from
fighting him by Capulet.

11.R & J confess their love for each other &
decide to secretly marry the next day.

the feud but not for love.

and to prepare for the honeymoon.

40. Capulets are preparing for J.’s wedding to
P. on Wed. – pushing up the date.
41. J. makes sure she’s alone & decides to take
the potion after debating w/ herself.

45. R. finds out from Balthasar that J. is dead.
46. R. decides to return to Verona in order to
die next to J.
47. Friar L. finds out that Friar John never
delivered the message to R. about the plan
regarding the potion & J.
48. Paris confronts R. at the Capulet tomb,
thinking R. will harm the bodies.
49. R. kills P. & lays him in the tomb w/ J.

of everything. Nurse involved.
61. B. gives Prince E. a letter R. wrote to his
father before he went to see J. in the tomb.
