Timberline Lodge we pride ourselves in creating the ultimate
experience for you and your guests. The excellent food, attentive
service and, of course, the Lodge itself with one of a kind arts and
crafts and majestic Mt. Hood views all leave a lasting impression on
everyone. In fact we were named “Best Quintessential Oregon
Reception Site” by Oregon Bride Magazine in 2009.
We can accommodate up to 200 people in our historic lodge. For
intimate rustic elegance at 7000' consider the Silcox Lodge which can
accommodate up to 40 guests. We are happy to set aside hotel rooms
for you and your guests, availability permitting.

C eremony
Timberline Provides: Banquet chairs for seating, tables for guest book & gifts and
wooden table for the ceremony. Two white pillars or wooden stands can be requested
for use. Standing Candelabra may be rented for a nominal fee.
The ceremony room (or Patio) will be available for decorating and use for pictures
two hours prior to the ceremony. Decorating is the responsibility of the wedding
party. Assistance with decorating is available @ $25.00 per person per hour.
Timberline is not responsible for security of any decorations left over right in or
around the function room. Earlier access may be available for a fee. Check with your
Catering Manager.
Ceremony location, when there is a choice of outdoor or indoor option, must
determined three hours prior to the ceremony. The ceremony site set up will not begin
until three hours prior to the ceremony. The ceremony will be set up inside if the
location site is not determined by wedding party three hours prior to the wedding.
Timberline will move gifts to any guest room you have pre-arranged. Timberline is
not responsible for the security of wedding gifts.
After the ceremony, Timberline staff will move ceremony flowers to pre-designated
locations in the reception room. (Example: move flowers to buffet table).
Decorations not removed from the ceremony and reception room at the end of your
event will be collected by Timberline staff and placed in the Ullman Foyer for your
retrieval. Any items not retrieved by 10:00 am the following morning will be
discarded. Timberline Lodge is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Curtains in all function rooms may be tied back with fabric. We are unable to remove
them due too their fragile nature.
Reception Room
Timberline provides: 60” round tables that seat 6 – 10 people, chairs, floor length
tablecloths in white or chocolate, overlay tables cloths in white or cream, napkins in
white, cream, black, chocolate, rust or forest green. All flatware, glassware, and
serving utensils for the food (including cake knife & server). Also available upon
request are votive candle holders (oil inserts too), head table, reserved signs, table
numbers, and easels.
The reception room will be available for you to decorate two hours prior to the
reception. Decorating is the responsibility of the wedding party. Assistance with
decorating is available @ $25.00 per person per hour. Timberline is not responsible
for the security of any decorations left over night in or around the function room.
Earlier access may be available for a fee. Check with your Catering Manager.
The candelabra included in the wedding packages are table-top silver candelabra
that are placed on the cake table. We provide white taper candles.
You may decorate the room in any fashion you choose. Our only prohibitions are:
anything damaging to the wooden walls, nothing that goes into the walls or ceiling.
Tape only. No confetti or glitter. All candles need to be enclosed.
Decorations not removed from the ceremony and reception room at the end of your

Wedding Locations
Barlow Room
Located in the Rachel Griffin Historic Exhibition Center the Barlow room is surrounded by nine
linoleum panels that comprise the “Calendar of Mountain Sports”. Created by artist Douglas Lynch of
Portland, they portray the fun outdoor and mountain sports on Mt. Hood. A perfect place for
ceremonies of up to 130 people, or a reception of 80 people. The room wraps you in the warmth and
love of family and friends
Patios & Amphitheater
With Mt. Hood or the Cascade Mountains as your backdrop who needs decorations! Our Patio and the
Amphitheater seats up to 250 loved ones.
Silcox H ut
It’s really a little lodge! Located one mile above Timberline Lodge, you can have the whole place to
yourself. It’s perfect for groups of 15-40 people. Its rustic beauty and craftsmanship can’t be beat. For
winter weddings we transport you, your friends and family by Sno-Cat! Overnight accommodations for
up to 24 close friends also available here.
U llman H all
Located in the C.S. Price Wing, this grand room brings the outdoors in. Wrought iron light fixtures, an
attached patio and built in dance floor truly make this room perfect for receptions of 200 celebrants.
Raven’s N est
Above the Ullman Hall is the much sought after Raven’s Nest. With vaulted ceiling, iron sculptures,
skylights and a built in dance floor one look and you will love it too! Perfect for your ceremony of up to
150 admirers, or reception of up to 70 celebrants.
Wy’east H all
The Wy’east Hall is located in the Wy’east Lodge. The Wy’east lodge was designed to greet guests
with warmth and inspiration. Artwork and furnishing in the Wy’east were created by Northwest
craftspeople of the 1980’s. Their aim; to carry on the spirit of quality craftsmanship that Timberline
represents. If you are looking for great views, an attached deck, built in bar and more casual
atmosphere…you’ve found it! The same award winning cuisine is served here for your special day.
Comfortably seats 220 guests.

gratuity.
Silcox Lodge
One mile above Timberline Lodge. Beautiful, adventurous and rustic. Beer and wine service
available. See Silcox Lodge Dinner Menu. Can be used for a rehearsal dinner in conjunction
with an overnight stay at Silcox Lodge. Dinner Buffet prices range $38.00 to $48.95 per person
plus gratuity. $895.00 rental fee and $1,395.00 food and beverage minimum. Maximum 40
people.
Ice Axe Grill, Government Camp
Located in Government Camp just 6 miles from Timberline Lodge. Features views of Tom &
Dick Ridge. Hand Crafted Ale brewed on site. Fishing theme. Group seating is available.
Capacity 5-40 people. Menu options: guests order from preselected menus prior to arrival or
Pizza Buffet. Price range is $15.00 -$30.00 per person.

A rehearsal room is provided at no charge when no other events are scheduled to take place. If an
event is scheduled to take place in the room you would like to rehearse in, you have the option of
rehearsing in any other unused room or to hold your rehearsal at another time or day.
Upon request, a Timberline staff member will meet with you or a designated member of the
wedding 15-30 minutes prior to your rehearsal start time to direct you on entrances, exits and
overall ceremony site set-up. The staff member will not be available during you rehearsal time.
Please plan accordingly. This request needs to be made at least two weeks prior to your rehearsal.
We are happy to organize and “run” your rehearsal at a fee of $200.00 per hour.

Timberline recommends reserving a hotel room the night before and the night of your wedding.
OUR CHECK-IN TIME IS 4:00 PM, and CHECK-OUT IS 11:00 AM. We cannot guarantee early
check-ins or late check-outs. Please plan accordingly. A hotel room is NOT included in any wedding
package.
The Banquet Hall restrooms are available for dressing purposes upon request. The restroom doors
will have “Private-Do Not Enter” signs posted. They cannot be locked. Timberline is not responsible
for any lost or stolen items.

Wedding cakes are provided by Dream Cakes for weddings with 100 or more guest. Contact
Dream Cakes directly at 503.239.9744 or www.judyreesedreamcakes.com to schedule a tasting
and design appointment – one to three months from wedding date. Wedding cakes for up to 100
guests are prepared by JaCiva’s. Contact JaCiva’s directly at www.jacivas.com or 503.234.8115.
Wedding cake orders can be finalized when your event is finalized- one to three months prior to
your wedding.
The wedding cake will be cut and served by Timberline staff after you have completed the initial
cut. Any remaining cake will be held for you in our cooler for 24 hours. Take the cake with you the
night of the reception, or stop in the Cascade Dining Room the following morning to pick up any
remaining cake. Wedding cake not picked up within 24 hours of the reception will be discarded.
Children 0 – 3 years are free of charges, 4 – 11 years are half price. 12 years or older are full price.
The punch service included in the wedding package is continually refreshed during your reception
time.
Buffets are served for one and one half hour. No food or beverage can be taken “to go.”
All food and beverage must be finalized one month prior to your wedding and no earlier than three
months prior to your event.

Activities in and around T imberline Lodge
Ski November through the first week in September. Equipment rental and lessons are
available.
Climb Mt. Hood. Guides and rental are available through Timberline Mountain Guide
(503)272-4486.
Magic Mile Skyride. One mile long chair lift welcomes non-skiers year round.
Hike around the lodge and Mt. Hood June through October. The Pacific Crest Trail is right
above Timberline.
Sauna and Jacuzzi open year round 11am - 11pm. Swimming pool open year round from
11am - 11pm.
Get a massage after a hard day of work and play. Referrals available upon request.
Snowshoe. Rentals are available and what a fun way to visit Silcox Hut in the winter. Silcox
Hut is a 1939 climbing hut newly renovated for overnight accommodations, group meals, and
weddings.
Catch a snow cat ride. A snow cat can be rented, with a driver for one or more hours. Your
party will cover a lot of terrain and get a good up-close look at Mt. Hood. This service must be
pre-arranged. Available November through June snow pack permitting.
USFS Tours and Films. The offers inside guided tours and films are year round. Outside
walking tours are available in the summer. Tours must be pre-arranged October through
May. The USFS interpretive dept can be reached directly (503)622-3191 ext. 610.
Movie and VCR rental is available as well as group movie viewings. Ping Pong and Shuffle
Board too.

Government Camp (6 miles west of Timberline Ski Area)

Mountain Bike. Rental bikes available and trails open June through October

Mt. Hood Ski Bowl Resort has an amusement park open summers June through the first
weekend of September. The park features the famous Alpine Slide, Kiddy Jeeps, Rapid Riser
Bungee, Can Am Carts, Scenic Chair Ride, Paint Ball Center, and Pony Rides

Home of Windsurfing. There are many shops that rent and give lessons. An overall nice
downtown with many interesting shops.
