This accessible yoga practice includes both simple flowing poses and still stretches. Mindfulness meditation is introduced on its own first, and then woven throughout. Sarah Jane will guide you on your way, introducing ideas, mindfulness techniques, and modifications that will help you start where you are, and feel into various energetic states, such as deep ease on the one hand, and bright liveliness on the other. During the final, restful poses of this workshop, when ease and liveliness are balanced, resulting in great steadiness, Shelby will then place acupuncture needles to anchor the balancing effects.
