Subject: New Product Release for DF62 Series
Hirose is happy to announce the DF62 series to our wire-To-wire family of connectors! The DF62 features
a multi row pin layout, smooth outside contour and no exposed metal on t he outside of the housing.
The pin layout is arranged in a 2.2mm x 2mm grid pattern which creates a smaller diagonal diameter making
for a more compact connector. The smooth outside shape of the connector moves easily inside wiring conduits
and the absense of any exposed met al parts on the outside of the connector eliminates any electrical arcing
or shorting on the inside of a metal conduit.
The locking mechanism on t he DF62 is simple, secure and has a lock strength of about 50 N.
The rated voltage is 250V Ac/DC The current capacity varies between 1 and 3 amps depending on the size
of the wire used. The operating temperature ranges from -35' C to +105' C, which makes it suitable for
Industrial and LED applications. Pin counts are available in 2. 3, 4. 5, 6, 7 and 13 posit ions.
