Install and Uninstall
To install, extract WingsOfCalamity.zip, and double click on
WingsOfCalamityInstaller.exe to open the game installer. Follow the
installer instructions to install the game.
To uninstall, navigate to Add/Remove

Programs in the control panel. From
there, select Wings of Calamity and click "remove."
Story
Captured in the dead of night...
...thrown into darkness.
The land has been shattered by the Dragon King, Valok. On a
midsummer’s eve, one of his dragons steals the princess of the human
kingdom, Ariana, from her home. Outside her prison cell, war breaks out
across the land. As her father’s armies march on Valok’s castle, and her
cruel captors torment her - what will Ariana do to free herself and bring
peace to the war-torn kingdom?
Take flight on the wings of an impossible hope...

The Warden: Ruthless and cruel, the w
delights in his master’s bidding and the suffering of others. He also
possesses some knowledge of magic, and presides over Valok’s battles.
Human King: Ariana’s father, he will do anything to bring peace to the lands
and end Valok’s destruction. But above all he wishes for the return of his
daughter, and every day that passes without her drains his spirit of joy.
Combat: A Journey of Fire
Throughout Ariana's journey, many battles will take place between the
dragons she raises and various foes.

During these battles, you control the
dragon. Prevail in these battles to help the princess in her struggle.
It would be wise to consider your dragon's speed in combat. Your
effectiveness and that of your enemies will often be determined by your
momentum.
Remember: your dragon's spiked tail and breath attacks will never fail you,
but the rest of your body is vulnerable, especially the belly.
Breeding
As you progress through the game, you will be given the
opportunity to raise new dragons. As you pick mates for your
current dragon, and a baby from ttheir eggs, choose wisely! The
new dragon will inherit the traits of its parents.
Fire breath deals damage over time to engulfed enemies.
Ice breath slows down opponents, and decreases their
defenses.
Lightning breath will briefly stun

damage to nearby enemies.

Enemies of the Human Kingdom
Eagle Rider:: These units guard the skies of the human
kingdom. Some willl crash into you, while those with riders will
shoot at you from a distance.
Archer: Although small,
mall, tthis powerful combatant will shower
your dragon with arrows from afar.
Catapult:: Humans utilize these large siege weapons to
destroy fortresses, and can wound your dragon quite
seriously.
Blimp: These aircraft
aft car
carry archers across the sky to defend
their kingdom from the air.
Enemies of the Goblin Kingdom
Plane: Goblins use these fast machines to swarm your dragon
from all sides.
Glider:: Goblins fly directly into your dragon using their
advanced gliding technol
chnology. As they get close to you, they
will rush forward.
Flakker: These stationary
tionary turrets are very powerful at close
range. Make sure to
o avoi
avoid their fire when you close in on them
to destroy them.
Helicopter: Goblinss use these powerful aircraft to control the
skies of the kingdom. They will launch powerful missiles at
you if you threaten their airspace.
