Certificate Number: 12-093A3 Page 2 of 5 Wayne Fueling Systems LLC Retail Motor Fuel Dispenser / A(BC/DE)FG-HJK Helix Application: For use in dispensing gasoline, E-85, diesel motor fuels, or Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). Additionally, the meters can blend diesel and biodiesel up to B100 (up to 100% biodiesel) and gasoline and ethanol up to E-85 (up to 85% ethanol) at attended or unattended retail service stations, and with approved and compatible equipment. Identification: The identification badge is secured to the upper portion of the electronic head enclosure on the outside of the dispenser. Model Designation: The manufacturer's model numbers are explained in the Model Main Body table below. Style A S= Small (2000 Series) H= H-Style (4000 or 5000 Series) Design B W= Wide C H= High Hose N= Narrow L= Low Hose Model Main Body A(BC/DE)FG-HJK No. of No. of Orientation Grade Inlets Selects D E F G I= M= 1= 1= Island Mirrored One One Oriented Hoses from Inlet Side A to B L= U= 2= 2= Lane Un-mirrored Two Two Oriented Hoses from Inlets Side A to B 3= Three Inlets 4= Four 3= Three 4= Four No. of Hydraulic Positions H 1= One Meter Hose Positions per Side (1) J 1= One Hose 2= Two Meters 2= Two Hoses 3= Three Meters 4= Four Meters 3= Three Hoses 4= Four Hoses Basic Technical Features K B=Biodiesel E=Ethanol F=Fleet H=High Capacity M=Media P=Payment R=Remote S=Suction V=Vapor Recovery U= Four Simultaneous Fueling Points Y= Master Z=Satellite YZ=Combo Master/Satellite 5= Five (1) If Hose Positions per Side (column J) is a single digit (i.e., 1, 2, 3 or 4), the model has same number of hoses on both sides of the dispenser. If two digits are present, the first digit is the number of hoses on Side A (with junction box or primary conduit) and the second digit is the number of hoses on Side B. If a zero is present in a two-digit number, it means it is a one-sided dispenser (i.e., 23 in this position represents 2 hoses on Side A and 3 hoses on Side B; 03 represents no hoses on Side A making it a one-sided dispenser with 3 hoses on Side B; and 20 in this position would describe no hoses on Side B making it a one-sided dispenser with 2 hoses on Side A). (2) If the number in the “No. of Grade Selects” column (G) is greater than the “No. of Inlets” column (F), the dispenser is a blender. Sealing: The dispenser has a Category 1 wire security seal for the meter, pulser and calibration. The dispenser also has a Category 2 event counter for configuration of gallons to liters and blend ratios. The Helix Series dispenser uses the iMeter [aka Model Global Hydraulics Module (GHM)] positive displacement duplex meter system or the Wayne Model Xflo positive displacement fuel meter. The Wayne Integrated Pulsers (WIP) use a physical seal for the meter calibration window. Access to the calibration window is prevented by a metal pin, which is inserted and secured to a metal clamp. A wire security seal is attached through a hole in the pin. Each calibration window is sealed separately. The iMeter, iMeter2, and Xflo meters can also be sealed by a wire security seal wrapped around the calibration window of the pulser and upper part of the meter. (See Figures 1 and 2 for the iMeter and Figures 3 and 4 for the Xflo). Blending (if applicable) and "gallons to liter conversion" configuration parameters do not have remote configuration capability and are set at the dispensers. An audit trail in the form of an event counter and a display is provided. The event counter increments once for each time one or more configuration parameters are changed. For the iGEM, the weights and measures audit trail is accessed by use of the hand-held remote (see Figure 5). By entering the weights and measures mode, one can view the audit trail and volume metering unit change counter required by weights and measures officials. Figure 5 – Hand-Held Remote Certificate Number: 12-093A3 Page 4 of 5 Wayne Fueling Systems LLC Retail Motor Fuel Dispenser / A(BC/DE)FG-HJK Helix When in the weights and measures mode, the display shows the blend ratio logs and volume metering unit logs for the dispenser. Both audit trail data and gallons to liters conversion data is obtained by use of a hand-held remote (available at the station being inspected). Point the remote at the main sales display where the "totals" and "volume" values are displayed. Keep the remote within 12 inches of the main sales display for proper operation. Operation of the remote is described in Wayne Fueling Systems operation manuals for both weights and measures officials and service personnel (reference part number 920352). To Review the Weights and Measures Event Counter for Blending Dispensers: 1. Press ENTER and then press CLEAR twice to access the Weights and Measures mode. Sale display will show bLEnd rAtioS and the current blend ratios for all the blended products. Note: If another button is not pressed within 20 seconds, the computer will toggle through the values without interaction from the remote. 2. Press NEXT repeatedly to view the following: a. Blend Ratio Change Counters b. Display Legend, Measuring Units LItErs = Liters US GAL = U.S. Gallons IP GAL = Imperial Gallons c. Volume Metering Unit Change Counter 3. To exit the Weights and Measures mode, press NEXT repeatedly until it exits. To Review the Weights and Measures Event Counter for Non-blending Dispensers: 1. Press CLEAR. 2. Read sales money display for n, where n is the unit change event counter. 3. The volume display will show the applicable unit. Press CLEAR and then press ENTER three to four times to exit the Weights and Measures mode. Test Conditions: This certificate supersedes National Type Evaluation Program (NTEP) Certificate of Conformance (CC) Number 12-093A2 and is issued to add the iMeter2 to the Helix model RMFD. Testing was conducted with a Helix Model H(N/L)22-22PR Retail Motor Fuel Dispenser (RMFD) at the Wayne Fueling manufacturing facility with gasoline using NIST traceable one (1) and five (5) gallon test measures applying a ± 0.3% accuracy tolerance and a 0.2 repeatability tolerance. Additionally, flow rate adjustments were made on the iMeter, iMeter2, and X-Flo meters based on a review of test data for the flow rates tested from the Ovation Series (CC Number 02-136A15). Previous test conditions are listed below for reference. Certificate of Conformance Number 12-093A2: This certificate superseded NTEP CC Number 12-093A1 and was issued to include blending ethanol fuel blends up to E-85 at the pump. Previous test information and documentation was reviewed from Wayne Fueling Systems and it is recognized that the upper electronics and X-Flo meter from the Ovation Series NTEP CC Number 02-136A11 are the same as the Helix Series NTEP CC Number 12-093A1. No additional testing was necessary Certificate of Conformance Number 12-093A1: This certificate superseded NTEP CC Number 12-093 and was issued to recognize a change in the company name from Dresser Wayne to Wayne Fueling Systems LLC. Previous test information and documentation was reviewed. No testing was necessary. Certificate of Conformance Number 12-093: The emphasis of the evaluation was the design, operation, performance and accuracy of the Xflo and iMeters in the Helix dispenser. The evaluation was performed on a dispenser at the manufacturer’s facility. The system was tested at five 10 gpm, three 6 gpm and five 2.5 gpm flow rate for both meter models using gasoline as the product. A one-time test was conducted due to documentation provided by the manufacturer stating that all the electronics in the dispenser are the same as the Ovation Series CC 02-136A6. Evaluated By: J.
