Route 1
This is a relatively simple circular route which starts in the village square
and takes in four Sites of Meaning, it is 1.94 kms long and takes
approximately 30 minutes and it includes a steep descent and a steep
climb back into the village

Route 2
This is a relatively simple circular route which starts in the village square
and takes in Sites of Meaning, it is 4.26 kms long and takes approximately
1 hour and it includes a steep descent and crossing a number of fields
with a walk along Weaddows Lane back into the village

Route 3
This is a more testing circular route which starts in the village square and
follows the same route as route 2. The route then deviates to take in SoM
8, 9, 10 and 11. This is a longer route of approximately 18.0 kms, it
involves some strenuous descents and ascents as well as walking on
roads, across fields and the High Peak Trail

Cycle / Walking Route 1
This route is 23 kms long and involves cycling / walking on bridleways,
the High Peak Trail and various lanes. Under normal conditions this
should take approximately 2 – 3 hrs to cycle or 5 – 6 hours to walk, there
is approximately 425 metres of ascent. It takes in a number of the Sites
of Meaning on route.

approximately 25 kms and will take approximately 5 hours to walk. The
route is varied between public footpath / bridleway, highway and the High
Peak Trail
