Stingy and the princess! A mini-beast story by Reception Once upon a time there was a friendly wasp called Stingy. One day Stingy went for a walk in his beautiful garden. A naughty man called bad man came into the garden and marched up to Stingy. He tried to pick Stingy up but Stingy didn’t like it. He stung bad man on the finger. The man was very angry and suddenly he caught Stingy in a net. The bad man picked Stingy up and carried him all the way back to his house. He locked him in a cage and took him to a dark noisy forest. The bad man let him out of the cage and left him in the middle of the forest. He could hear some strange howling noises, crunching sounds and the wind blowing the leaves. Stingy was very scared. Stingy could see lots of tall trees with green leaves. It was very dark because the leaves were covering the sun. Stingy walked along the muddy path and it made a squelchy noise. He looked up and saw a spooky tree monster. He realised that the monster was made out of sticks and logs. He decided to walk so that he could find help. He walked along the forest floor tripping over all the sticks as he went. The sticks made a crunchy sound as he walked. All of a sudden he came across a giant door. He slowly pushed the giant door open and behind it there was a huge castle. He could see lots of scary wolves. He stung the toes of all of the wolves and went inside. He walked into a lovely ballroom and at the end he saw a beautiful princess dancing. Stingy fell in love. He flew across the room and kissed her on the lips. He turned into a handsome prince. They lived happily ever after.
