MELAMINE DESK SCREEN
19 mm thick particle board with 2 mm thermofused edges around the perimeter. Fixed to
the framework with specific fittings hidden below the desk. The Vektor system side desk
screens can be chosen as 30 mm thick particles board.
GLASS DESK SCREEN
6 mm (3 + 3 mm) laminated glass with inner butyral sheet. Polished edges and rounded
corners. Fixed to the framework by specific fittings hidden below the desk.
UPHOLSTERED DESK SCREEN
16 mm thick particle board base with both sides upholstered. Sewings at laterals.
UNEVEN DESK SCREEN
3 mm thick steel sheet beam support with an inverse “V” shape. The upholstered version
is formed by four 5 mm thick particle upholstered boards. The melamine version is formed
by four 10 mm thick boards.

FRONT DESK SCREENS FOR SINGLE DESKS
The front desks screens for single desks are used in shared rooms mainly, by staff of several departments or by staff of different companies. It’s made for keep the intimacy, reduce the noise as much as possible and improve the user concentration. A lot of companies
use these screens in combination with side screens to make up “Call center” positions with special needs of intimacy and isolation.
The available materials for these screens are melamine, glass or upholstered melamine in the Group 1 of our upholsteries catalog.
FRONT DESK SCREENS FOR BENCH DESKS
The bench desk posts became popular in the last years because of their versatility, their growth possibilities and the space use. The
screen in a bench is a delimit element that favors the intimacy without cutting the communication between face to face positions, frontal
or side.
The available materials for these screens are melamine, glass or upholstered melamine. Also exists uneven melamine or upholstered
screens, available for the M10 and V30 programs.
SIDE DESK SCREENS FOR SINGLE DESKS AND BENCH DESKS
The side separation for single desks and for bench overviews is used mainly in multi-positions rooms where intimacy is important for
the tasks development. It is used often, for example, in Call Centers where exist some special isolation needs and, at the same time, a
great quantity of positions in each room.
The available materials for these screens are melamine, glass or upholstered melamine in the Group 1 of our upholsteries brochure.

TECHNICAL SCREENS
Technical screens are built by a 24 mm thick perimeter frame that may contain a melamine, upholstered melamine or methacrylate
structure. This frame has in the upper part a slot (monorail) or several slots (multirail) that allow hanging accessories. Over this frame
may be placed a vertical glass extension by some aluminium pins fixed to the frame and supporting the glass. Then if we divide in two
parts the inner structure, we can combine both parts, offering melamine-melamine, melamine-upholstery, melamine-methacrylate and
upholstery-methacrylate, with an indifferent finish position.

The possibily of adding accesories to the technical screens provides an added functionality, because they permit an organisation more
efective of the work tools and a more efficient use of the working surface.
The variety of available elements, their location and position are free for the user, who must know the number of rails of the chosen
screen and the dimensions of the chosen trays when designing the working post.
Using accesories is possible from the both faces of the screen, to be used by two positions face to face in a bench-type overview.

RAIL ACCESSORY FRAMES
Rail accesory frames add utility to the workstation, keeping active the communication. If it is desired to keep the privacy, screens may
be also add to the frame.
Forma 5 have 3 different kinds of screens depending on its use and fixation to the desk:

Simple frames fixed to the desk top.
Double frames fixed to the desk top.
Simple frames for bench desk fixed to the framework beams.
These frames are made in aluminium. 27 mm thick and 80 mm height horizontal bar. The sides have the same dimensions in the bench
desks fixed to the top and, in the case of the bench desks fixed to the framework, 24,5 mm thick and 35 mm width. The fittings are made
in polyamide in the bench desks fixed to the top and in steel in the onesfixed to the framework.
The added functionality is in the complements and accessories that are hanged or attached on their horizontal bars. For example, single
lightning that turn the work post in a reading zone, or different kind of trays (paper, DVDs, telephone...).
When the user choose the more appropiate accessories, he must keep in mind the width and height of the chosen accessory, as well
as the width and height of the available bars in the frames.
