** Only offered to students entering 9th or 10th grade who have successfully completed Pre-AP Algebra 1
** Students must be in attendance from June 6th - June 29th (Mon-Thurs) each week in order to receive
credit for the course
** Students are only allowed 1 absence in order to receive credit for the course
** All grades earned (pass or fail) will be recorded on transcripts and be calculated in a student’s GPA
** Final day to drop a course without it affecting your transcript is June 7th

Pre-AP Geometry Summer Course (Pilot)
Thank you for your interest in the Pre-AP Geometry summer course. In an effort to make your
experience the absolute best, please note the following provisions for this course.
Students entering the Pre-AP Geometry summer course must successfully complete Pre-AP
Algebra 1, and receive a teacher recommendation that the student will be able to sustain the
rigor of the course.

Drop Date
The last drop date for the Pre-AP Geometry summer course without penalty will be Wednesday,
June 7th (3rd day of the course). Any student that drops the course after this date will receive a
failing grade reflected in their GPA calculation.
Absences
Students may only miss one day during summer school. Students that miss more than one day
will be dropped from the course and receive a failing grade reflected in their GPA calculation.
Pacing
The Pre-AP Geometry summer session is a fast paced, rigorous high school course that will
include at-home assignments and online course work.
