An Offering of Flowers for Easter
St. Gabriel Environment for Worship Committee
invites you to consider a donation of flowers for the sanctuary for Easter.
A special request: please do not donate Easter Lilies– they cause
allergic reactions in many of our parishioners. There are many beautiful
flowers and shrubs of all colors– chrysanthemums, lilacs, hydrangeas,
azaleas, calla lilies and other flowers are all welcome. Any pastel colors will
be welcome. Easter lilies that are donated will not be placed in the church
for health reasons.
If you are unable to shop for flowers or would like someone to shop for you, you are welcome
to make a donation for the purchase of flowers. Simply write a check to “St. Gabriel Church” with
the word “flowers” in the remarks section, and attach it to this form.
Flowers or an offering can be made in memory of deceased loved ones or in honor of the
living. A list of those remembered with flowers will appear in the parish bulletin during the Easter
season.
Please bring flowers to the parish any time during Holy Week,
but no later than 10 a.m. on Holy Saturday.
Flowers should be brought to the Education wing entrance.
Please only donate plants that you wish left at the church or planted in the church cutting garden. Thank you
