The Grand Rivers Chamber of Commerce is pleased to invite you to participate in the 2016 Labor Day Weekend Arts and
Crafts Festival.
Please complete all pages with all the pertinent details and sign the application. If you wish to be close to another
crafter, please let us know. With the application, you must include a complete and detailed description of each type
item you wish to sell. A photograph of each type item must also be included. ALL ITEMS MUST BE HANDCRAFTED AND
APPROVED FOR SALE IN ADVANCE. You may NOT sell items, even if handcrafted, that are manufactured for resale.
The Grand Rivers Chamber of Commerce will be the host organization for the September 3 – 5, 2016 Labor Day
Weekend Arts & Crafts Festival. Kentucky’s Western Waterland is in agreement with the Chamber hosting the festival.
2016 Show Dates and Times are Saturday, September 3, 9 AM to 5 PM - Sunday, September 4, 9 AM to 5 PM - and
Monday, September 5, 9 AM to 3 PM.
The show is located in Grand Rivers Little Lake Park. The attractions in Grand Rivers draw record numbers of people
over Labor Day weekend. Grand Rivers is home to Patti’s 1880’s Settlement & a Branson-style music Show Variety!
Music, Memories & More at the Badgett Playhouse. We are the only town that fronts on both Kentucky and Barkley
Lakes with a beautiful resort and marina on each lake. We are the northern entrance to Land Between the Lakes, a

We are easy to find. Take I-24 KY Exit 31 and turn south on KY 453. Continue 3 miles on 453 and then turn left on
Commerce Street (across from Lighthouse Landing Resort). From Commerce, turn right on JH O’Bryan Ave. You can also
take US 62/641 to Lake City and turn south on KY 453 going two miles to the left on Commerce Street.






Food Concessionaires will now be able to sell water and soda.
Newly paved park parking lots with new lighting. The City of Grand Rivers has paved the parking area and added
lighting to Little Lake Park.
Better vendor pricing for the pavement vendor spaces with electric. In 2015, the price for a 10 x 20 pavement
space was $180.00. In 2016, the price per spot is $165.00.
A 20% increase in the adverting budget for 2016. Plus, a new website and social media plan.
A new contact person dedicated to vendor services, Kim Kraemer. Kim has worked as a volunteered for the
show for many years, and her background includes destination and event management and marketing.
