Task: Make a presentation of the duties of the President.
Requirements:

Introduction
o Introduce the topic of your presentation.
•
Three Main topics
o topic #1 Role: Chief Diplomat
o topic #2 Role: Commander in Chief
o topic #3 Role: Chief Legislator

Criteria for Each Topic
o Definition of each role clearly explained in your own words
o Explanation of two duties/responsibilities of the role
o A past example and a present example of the president exercising this role
(outside research required) you may add hyper links to demonstrate your
example
o Significance – detailed explanation of the importance of this role.

Concluding Slide
o Summarize the main point of your presentation.
•
Mechanics
o Format – presentation must be at least 5 minutes and follow the format
requirements.
o Structure and Flow – each presentation flows from one thought to the next
o Organization – all details are placed in a clear, logical order
o Transition Statements - the presentation uses a variety of transitions to
connect one idea to the next
o Spelling and Grammar – there are no errors in spelling or grammar to
distract the reader/ listener.
o Example of types of presentations ( but not limited to): power points,
movies, brochures, or videos.
