The Products department is a close-knit, hard working team that depends on each other to keep the many
areas of the department running smoothly. We are looking for a computer savvy, enthusiastic, fun-loving
individual who is willing to serve in whatever way is needed, enjoys a team-oriented environment, and is
familiar enough with the MSIA teachings to answer customer service questions.
Main job function:
Serving MSIA customers with excellence, integrity, and professionalism while being an integral team player.
Essential functions:
 Provide customer service via phone, email, online store, and in person
 Communicate with customers in a compassionate, loving, and professional manner
 Provide technical support related to MP3 downloads, iTunes, and online store purchases
 Maintain familiarity with the MSIA online store
 Work on 3-4 computer programs simultaneously
 Learn MSIA systems and new computer programs (Great Plains, X-Cart)
 Maintain clear communication with the department team, supervisor and customers
 Contribute to team efforts and support other team members as necessary
 Responsible for any additional duties that maybe assigned by the supervisor occasionally
Skills/Qualifications:





Previous office and administrative experience is a must
Excellent computer skills on Microsoft Office programs: Word and Excel
Ability to create own task list, understand priorities and execute them accurately
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Capacity to learn new computer programs (Lotus Notes, X-Cart, Great Plains) quickly

Ability to clearly communicate the MSIA teachings






Ability to maintain a balanced demeanor with challenging customers or customer’s situations
Qualities: Detail-oriented, honest, trustworthy, enthusiastic, flexible, loving, balanced
Comfortable with numbers/math
Ability to work efficiently individually and in a team environment.
Willingness to cover for co-workers as needed and to serve in multiple capacities
Ability to take initiative and be self-sufficient
Ideal Qualifications and skills include:
 Phone reception experience
 Active MSIA discourse subscriber, PTS Masters or Doctoral current student or graduate
Preferred:
 Periodic lifting (up to 50 lbs) for various projects / event set-up. Pre-employment physical exam
required.
 Bilingual (Spanish, other languages welcome)
