Appointment to Maroc Telecom’s Management Board
The Supervisory Board appointed Mr. Hassan Rachad as a member of Maroc Telecom’s
Management Board replacing Mr. Rachid Mechahouri who will continue to work at other positions
in the Group. Hassan Rachad will assume the Chief Technical Officer position.
Hassan Rachad joined Maroc Telecom in 1988 as a telecommunication engineer. He has held
several management positions within the Group such as Human Resources Director, Regional
Director for Casablanca, for Marrakech and for Oujda.
Aged 52, Hassan Rachad is a graduate of Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Telecommunications of
Paris. He’s married and the father of two children.
Furthermore, Mrs. Janie Letrot, member of the Management Board in charge of Regulatory and
Legal Affairs, has resigned for personal reasons.
