Directions: Go to my website and click on the link that says “Bacteria Zoo”.
Once that is open, click on the phrase that says L527 Bacteria Zoo. Follow the
onscreen directions. You may want to use headphones / earbuds for this
activity. Using this interactive animation, answer the following questions on this
worksheet.
1. Answer the following questions in the Introduction section of the program. Click on “Bacteria Facts”.
A. What three things are used to classify bacteria?
B. List the different shapes bacteria can have.
C. Can all bacterial move around? List the different ways bacteria can move.
2. Click on the link “Zoo” at the top of the page. As you do the activity, indicate what shape the
bacteria is my writing the word on the line. Then, match the species of bacteria with its description on
the right by writing the letter on the line.
