Dear Parent,
October month has a great significance in our history and festivity.
The father of our nation, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was born on October 2, 1869 in
Porbandar, Gujarat. He is called ‘Mahatma’, means Great Soul because of his greatness.
Vijaya Dashami or Dussehra is one of the major Hindu festivals that celebrate the
victory of good over evil.
Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, popularly known as Missile Man & 11th President of India
was born on 15 October.
