DO YOU KNOW OF ANY AVAILABLE MEETING SPACE?
Neutral Ground expends a significant portion of our budget on
rent. It would be wonderful if we could find free or inexpensive
meeting space. We're hoping that your church, employer, bank,
insurance company, organization etc. would be interested in
sponsoring our nonprofit organization. Most businesses and
organizations use their space during the day. Neutral Ground needs
space only one evening per week from 6 – 9:30 PM on Thursday
nights. The value of the donated space would be a great tax deduction
for some business or organization.
We need rooms for 8-10 groups to meet. Our groups rarely
include more than 15 people, so the rooms don't need to be large.
We'd also need kitchen or break room space for our coffee time. A
good size conference or meeting room would be helpful to
accommodate our periodic speakers and sharing dinners, but if we
weren't paying monthly rent, we could easily afford to rent a park
lodge for bigger events. We have 3 tall storage cabinets for which we'd
need space.
If you know of anyone who might be willing to donate space,
please send an email to [email protected] or speak to any of
the board members listed on the front of your newsletter. Think how
convenient it would be for their employees or members to attend our
meetings in their place of employment or worship. Companies donate
space for Weight Watchers meetings. Neutral Ground is just as
critical to good health as a healthy diet. Thanks for checking with
