Way back here at the end of the train (pinky finger)

(move forward)
Now it’s going back.
(move backwards)
Now the bell is ringing,

What a lot of noise it makes everywhere it goes.
(cover ears)
Down by the Station
Down by the station,
Early in the morning.
See the little puffer bellies,
All in a row.
See the station master
Turn the little handle.
Puff, puff, toot, toot, off we go.
Other Fun Things
The Wheels on the Train
(Tune: “The Wheels on the Bus”)
The wheels on the train go clickety-clack,
Clickety-clack, clickety-clack!
The wheels on the train go clickety clack,
All around the track.

Pack it up
It’s Time to go on a Trip, Hurray!
Get out a suitcase and pack for a pretend trip. Help
your child think of all the things he/she would need to
take on a trip.
(Tune: “Old Mac Donald Had a Farm”)
It’s time to go on a trip, Hurray! E I E I O,
I pack some socks and fold them tight, E I E I O,
With a sock sock here, and a sock sock there,
Here a sock, there a sock, everywhere a sock sock.
It’s time to go on a trip Hurray! E I E I O.
