It defines the strategies to fulfil its vision and the measures it will use to identify its achievement for its priority goals Vision To be the only football club of choice in the North Shore area Purpose To promote, administer, develop, encourage opportunities and foster an environment for the participation of football players, staff and faculty to actively be involved in recreational, social and competitive football whilst maintaining a community and family environment through the concept of ‘football for all’ Mission Developing our youth through academy learning within a development model and focus, that ensures growth and maturity in our youths football ability A club ideology and brand adopted by all levels to promote Albany United Football Club as a home for football for its members and its community Objectives To ensure our members have an environment that allows them to achieve their highest potential, through innovative learning; development; opportunities; facilities and football at the highest level available to the club at all standards of play Advance our communities maturity, growth, skills, experience and life skills to achieve opportunities of physical education; leadership; togetherness; group activity; partnership; social interaction & friendship through the governance, formation & participation in football Hire a suitable Club Football Director as a club full time employee that shares the club mission. Who holds suitable coaching and management qualifications and experience Goals Register a Metro team at every available grade to deliver our Local Talent Centres and ultimately out National Talent Centres with football players capable of leading our regions football aspirations Build suitable football facilities that allow full year access and ensure the club has suitable equipment required to cater for the academy and community use Build suitable clubrooms that allow for learning, social and family gatherings centred around football and community The Strategic Plan specifies goals and objectives however the goals are general pronouncements of intent whilst our objectives are concrete expressions of what we will achieve. They are centric “SMART”: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Time specific.
