EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIP
The external relationship
is a fundamental field for
the international
projection of the Pacific
Alliance and the
achievement of its
objectives.

THREE DIMENTIONS OF THE
EXTERNAL RELATIONS of the P.A.
1.-It embraces open regionalism and therefore seeks partnership with
other regional integration groups: ASEAN, APEC, MERCOSUR,
EUROPEAN UNION
2.-External relations are linked to Observer States
(OS)
3.-The external relationship of the Alliance is also with
international organizations such Development Bank of
Latin America (CAF), Inter-American Development
Bank (IDB) and the Organization for Economic
Cooperation and Development (OECD): They all
provided technical and financial assistance to the
Pacific Alliance.

AREAS OF WORK PRIVILEGED
WITH THE OS
The relationship with the Observers is a real challenge for the Pacific
Alliance, but also a great opportunity to project the Alliance towards the world
and to achieve concrete results aimed at achieving the objectives set out in
the Framework Agreement.
The member countries of the Pacific
Alliance, therefore, consider it of
great interest to promote greater ties
with third States, a reciprocal interest,
since they also find it relevant to
relate to the Pacific Alliance.

We have interesting potential for investment, which can lead to business
opportunities or cooperative schemes. We can serve as a bridge with Asia
Pacific for those countries that do not participate in that geographic space.
The Alliance can serve as a bridge between businessmen
and investors from member countries and Observer States.
We invite you all to participate through your investments
and to do business with our countries.
