The dimensions are provided as a guideline. The final product should be similar in appearance
with the provided drawing.
The universal payload mount should be similar to UAV factory part no. M0001A806.
The product should be mostly made of composites, so that the airframe weight (without
payload, engine, and servos) should be less than 8 kilograms. Appropriate reinforcements can
be provided. Please specify all such details in your quotation.
The empty weight (without fuel and payload, but with engine and servos) should be at most 10
kilograms.
Should be sealed against rain and snow.
The maximum take off weight ideally desired is 30 kilograms. However, it should be not be less
than 22 kilograms.
Other details are available upon request.
Terms and conditions:
1.
Installation and demonstration should be done at site. Free services of installation should be provided on site for a
period of one year.
2. Enquiry will be sent by courier / registered post / speed post and IIT Kanpur will not be liable for any kind of
irregularity/delay.
3. A properly sealed envelope addressed to Dr. A. K. Ghosh (DOSA) invariably giving on the envelope reference of
enquiry number and due date of opening.
4. All quotation must reach undersign by 12.05.2014 up to 3:00 PM. Late tenders will not be accepted.
5. Quotation must be valid till 90 days and only specified brand.
6. Delivery period will be 08 Weeks from the receipt of the purchase order. Extension delivery period not allowed.
7. Warranty period of at least six months.
8. Payment terms 90% against delivery and 10% after inspection and approval. For Foreign currency thorough LC.(Above
USD 10,000)
9. The rate offer should be free delivery to IIT Kanpur (FOR) and current of taxes as other statutory levies must be
mentioned. If items are imported then the firms should quote the price on F.O.B. Basis.
10. Institute is exempted for payment of Excise Duty under notification No. 10/97 & partially @ 5.15% Custom Duty
exemption certificate under notification 51/96 and road permit will be provided if applicable
11. The Penalty @ 1% per week or part thereof subject to a maximum of 10% of the delivery price will be deducted from
the balance payment if supply is not completed within stipulated period
12. The Concessional Form 'C/D' have been abolished w.e.f. 01.04.2007.
