Strategies
Pasco County Office of Tourism Development (OTD)
Strategy: Establish a program of strategies and incentives to preserve,
enhance, and expand the tourism industry.
Department:
• “We have added the Florida Circumnavigation/Blue ways Trail and kayak
and boat launch sites to the FWC Fishing Map.”
•
“OTD funds activities and events in the Harbors District such as Chasco
Fiesta, Paddleplaozza and Pasco Ecofest which are regional draws to the
area and have produced a record of overnight room stays and economic
impact for the area.
Pasco County Stormwater Department
Strategy:
Develop an effective public education program to inform residents about
the importance of drainage easements, self-maintenance of existing
stormwater systems and sustainable stormwater practices to
reduce/prevent flooding.
