INTERFAITH HOSPITALITY NETWORK. It was a special week at Beacon House
June 28-July 5. Since it was a vacation week I was afraid of not getting enough volunteers.
Being the wonderful parish you are, many rose to the occasion and 2 new families came
forth to volunteer. Special thanks to our newcomers Mary, Pat, Sean and Moriah Branick
and Carrie, Chad, Marie and Carl Ronnander. We had a 10 moth old baby, 2 two year olds,
a 3 year old for part of the week, a five and six year old and their moms and a single dad.
They were a good group of families. WE WILL AGAIN HOST THE WEEK OF AUGUST 2
thru AUGUST 9. It’s coming up quick but then we won’t host again until after Christmas.
This also gives more people a chance to help during the summer, that cannot help during
the school year. A heartfelt thanks goes our to all of you!!!
CHURCH CLEANING: Your help is needed each week to clean our 2 beautiful
churches. If you can spare an hour or two and would like to be included on our “Church

we will get you on the cleaning schedule. If your schedule doesn’t allow another commitment at this time but you know you have some time this week and would like to assist,
please just come on/at the times/dates listed below:

are required to attend one of the
Baptism classes. Scheduled dates:

Classes will be held at the Parish
Center at 6:30pm. Please call the

wish to schedule your class date.
We recommend that you attend these classes during your
pregnancy, before your baby is
born. Baptisms are scheduled
on the 2nd weekend of the
month at Masses or other
times by appointment.
Come and help them if you can. Many hands make work lighter. Cleaning supplies are
provided. You need to bring your enthusiasm, willingness to help and a smile. Thank you
very much and God bless you!!!! ……...Shelly
EXCHANGE STUDENT. C.A.S.E. has been notified that they have a male Chi-
nese student, age 15, who would like to attend Regis High School for a term of one
year (2009-2010). This student has many interests including acting, movies, travel,
basketball, music, dancing, singing, cross country, environmental issues etc. He
would like to live with a family and enjoys children. He does not live with pets as
he has allergies to dust, pollen and animal hair. MINGYU (Nick) has had 12 years
of English and is eager to learn about the US and its people. He will have his own
spending money, paid tuition and only needs a place to stay while he attends Regis.
If you would like to share your home with this student for the next school year,
please call Kathy Ruscin at 715-830-2273. I will be glad to send you the student’s
personal letter to prospective families so that you will be able to know and understand him further. Thank you for your consideration.

see the large variety of businesses that participate and find out
