Each team will furnish two (2) baseballs at the start of each game. If more balls are needed to complete the game, teams should alternate adding additional balls, starting with the home team. Each team should shag balls on their side of the dugout. 2. An eight (8) run rule after 5 innings will be in effect for all games. 3. The home team will be decided by a coin flip before the game. 4. Each game will have a two (2) hour time limit (except the championship game). No inning can start after two hours. If teams are tied after 7 innings and time remains, they may play an extra inning. 5. No infield or batting practice permitted before games. 6. Rain games – In the event a scheduled game cannot be completed due to rain, the team that is ahead at the end of the last completed inning will be the winner. In case of a tie, tiebreaker rules will apply. 7. Tiebreakers: If, at the end of the time limit, the two teams are tied, each team will receive one half (1/2) win and one half (1/2) loss. Upon completion of the round robin, the team with the most wins will advance (Two wins, one loss would advance over one win, two ties; one win, one loss, one tie would advance over three ties). If two or more teams have equal wins, the team that has given up the least runs will advance. If teams remained tied, the team that scored the most runs will advance. If teams are still tied, the team that advances will be determined by coin flip(s). 8. If rain causes postponement of games, every effort will be made to rearrange the schedule in order to complete the tournament. If that fails, we will try to make sure every team gets at least two games.
