We, the members of the R.A.C.E., are writing with great urgency.
It has come to our attention that a very important ancient religious artifact has been uncovered in the
Middle East. The identity of the artifact has not been confirmed to date. We look to you, as one of the
greatest historical treasure hunters to locate, identify and document your attempt to find this artifact.
Your immediate attention to this matter is requested not only by our offices in Cairo, but also by her
Majesty the Queen. If this artifact falls into the wrong hands, a significant piece of Middle Eastern
history could be lost forever or religious warfare may erupt yet again in the area. As you know the
Middle East is the birth place of the three major monotheistic religions.
Attached is the only remaining evidence of our last agent searching for this artifact. As more
information is revealed through our ongoing investigation of this matter we will be sure to pass it along.
To be sure that you have uncovered this specific artifact the following is required:



A travel log of your twelve day excursion and visual representation of the artifact
A map of your travels that includes relative location, compass rose, and a legend of all key
events of your travels
If found, a social media press release will be needed
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Best wishes,
HRH
Her Royal Highness
The Queen

Since leaving the Cairo office, I have learned
much about the artifact. I have confirmed that
its origin is east of the Nile River and southwest of
the Caucasus Mountains. The locals are
unwilling to reveal many details because of its
religious significance, but I must continue to ask
about it. I have found that its religion is native to
this area and is at least 1200 years old.
“Jerusalem” and “Abraham” are consistently
mumbled when people are interviewed.
However, I have also learned about the others
looking for it, and they worry me. These people are
working for agencies also looking for this artifact,
mostly because of its religious importance. I
overheard them speaking about…
