NPR Books calls this "a book to take in slowly, to spend time in, to wander through." It is a magical novel about women and friendships that is sure to please. Wed. August 30 * 10-11 am New York Times best-selling author, Tess Lesley Kagen, will read and discuss her recently published e-novella The Undertaking of Tess. After the tragic death of her father, Tess concocts a plan to help her younger sister deal with the loss. This heartfelt and humorous novella sets the stage for Kagen's upcoming novel, The Resurrection of Tess Blessing, to be released October 2014. COMMUNITY QUILT AUGUST 16, 10:00 – 2:00 pm Help make the Cedarburg Public Library's community quilt. All are welcome to help stitch together the community quilt that was started at our Grand Opening event on July 12. Susan Wernecke from the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts will lead the activity.
