String Line

• Work out your
fence positioning &
measurements of
panels & posts by
creating a mud map
• Set Stringline along
the desired fence line.
Measure and mark
post hole positions,
starting with the gate
• Using the Materials
Checklist, calculate
how many of each
component you require
• Dig post holes along
string line; approx
600mm deep x 200mm
in diameter
• Contact your local
supplier to complete
your order
• Posts will sit approx.
500mm into the holes

are accurate- see

plumb/in line with
the stringline. Pour
concrete evenly around
all posts
• For U-Channels fixed

bottom slat, slide the
slat down into the
channel and screw off
at the desired height.
Use your spirit level to
ensure slat in plumb

• Repeat the Panel
Installation process to
create your gate using
two screws for each
slat - Not required
if you are using a
fabricated gate
• Place your spacers
on top of this slat and
repeat the process,
keeping even spacing
between slats until
you reach your desired
panel height

Our Slat Privacy fencing is available in any Colorbond equivalent powder coating
colour from Interpon. These colour swatches are meant as a guide only
Care Instructions & Warranty:
Exposure to U.V. light, pollution, salt deposits and chemicals can affect the long term performance of the
fencing coating if not removed with regular washing.
A regular monthly clean with a soft brush, warm water and mild detergent followed by a rinse of fresh
water will maintain the finish of both powder coated, Colorbond® Steel and stainless steel fencing
components and fulfil warranty conditions.
