All Nippon Airways to Launch
Narita - Mexico City New Service on 15 Feb!
-The First Non-Stop Service from a National Airport to Latin America by a Japanese CarrierTokyo, 10 November 2016: Narita International Airport Corporation (NAA) is pleased to announce that All
Nippon Airways (ANA) (IATA Code: NH) will launch a new service between Narita and Mexico City on
Wednesday, 15 February 2017. Please refer below for details.
Mexico City with a population of more than 20 million, is the largest city in Latin America*. It plays a
central role as a tourist destination in its own right with a blend of the new in the form of a contemporary
cityscape and the old with the remains of the Aztec civilization. It is also the connecting point for other
locations in Mexico such as the remains of the Mayan civilization and the popular honeymoon destination
of Cancun. Beyond that, Mexico has made its presence felt in recent years as an important production
center with the entry of many Japanese automobile companies. With this new service, we can expect
more convenient travel between Japan and Mexico for both the leisure and business travel.
ANA is the first Japanese airline to operate non-stop from Narita to Latin America with this new route.
Narita Airport sees this new service to Mexico City which is the portal to Latin America as an initial step in
expanding more possible routes to the region.
Take advantage of Narita Airport's extensive air network which will soon be further expanded by ANA's
Mexico City service.
Please refer to the ANA website (https://www.ana.co.jp) for further information.
