WELCOME TO ZACHARY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 3775 Hemlock Street 225.654.4036 phone www.zacharyelementary.org Dewey Davis, Principal Zachary, LA 225.654.8746 fax Trudy Johnson, Asst. Principal Principal’s Welcome Please check our school website for updates on We are excited to have your family join the Zachary Elementary team. The ZES Mustangs are on the move (literally “on the move”). This summer we will move into a new two-story 19 classroom addition. The classrooms, hallways, computer labs, and library will be filled with excitement in just a few weeks. We will move into a new cafeteria prepared to deliver its first meals to 800 hungry students in August. One of our older buildings will move into the pages of Zachary Elementary history making way for more green space on our campus. The old Administrative building will move to a new purpose (from teachers’ lounge to music room). Moves are taking place everywhere, and it is your support that has made these changes possible. Regardless of our moves and changes, our commitment to the children and families of Zachary remains firmly rooted. Although moving into new buildings is an exciting process, our strength is not found in bricks or mortar. Students, families, and community are our greatest resources. Thank you for being a part of the Zachary Elementary team. Dewey Davis, Principal of ZES events, pictures, and programs that we will offer during the 2014-15 school year.
