Whit Landers and the Confusion is a 4 piece country/variety band. The members of the band are: Whit Landers-Lead
Vocals/Guitar, James David(Uncle Dave)Clark-Bass/Vocals, Kody Owens-Drums/Vocals, and James Miller-Guitar/Vocals.
pro's with decades of experience playing live shows and recording. This band has it all and can make any crowd take
notice. Being formed in February of 2016, this band has grown to be a regional act touring the popular clubs and
Casinos in the 4 state area.

Whit Landers and the Confusion Members are:
Whit Landers-Lead Vocals/Guitar
Whit Landers is a singer/front man. He started playing in local bands at the age of 19. After playing private parties
and community functions in and around Madison County, he joined Nashville recording artist Brian Odle's band, Brian
Odle and The Dealers. He traveled with them for 1 1/2 years as a rhythm guitar player. In 2006, he broke out on his
own as a singer and started his own band, where he played festivals such as the Tontitown Grape Festival and opened
for Country music artists such as Doug Stone and Bryan White. Since then, he has been thinking his skill in bars and
clubs in the 4-state area in search of the perfect mix of musicians to share the stage, which is where he found the guys
who make up The Confusion!
James David Clark-Bass/Vocals
Multi-instrumentalist James David began his musical journey as a keyboard player, working his teen years out ofCarroll
County Ar. After a move back to Springdale, Ar, James David soon found a home for the next few years,
working Country Music Shows from Bella Vista, Eureka and Branson, picking up guitar, bass, banjo and mandolin
along the way. During this time, he worked for The Legardes, The Suannee River Boys, and a stint as keyboard player for
Country Artist David Frizzell...Switching to bass, JD worked various bands, playing casino's, and travelling the area from
Tulsa to Fort Worth. In recent years, JD has been working locally with Rockabilly Hall of Famer John D. LeVan, and a
host of others. JD's main interest lies in Red Dirt and Traditional Country, but is at home with many other
genres.
Kody Owens-Drums/Vocals
Kodys father, Ken Owens played with the Cate Brothers back in the SO's and 60's here is Arkansas and his mother was a
drum major is Springdale High School band. He was born in and raised in Arizona before moving back in '92. Kody
played with Wendy Austion in the 90's and then went on to play with Dean Moss, Jeff Quinn, the Deas
Armadillos and others. Playing professionally for the better part of 30 years, Kody has now settled in with Whit
Landers and the Confusion!
James Miller-Guitar/Vocals
James began playing at 15 and never stopped. His career is music started in clubs then and led him to touring and
playing with many regional acts like: Mr. Happy, Freefall, Fultons Point in recent years. James played in these bands on
the big stage as an opening act for bands like the Kentucky Headhunters, Georgia Satellites, Dr. Hook, Foghat,
Black Oak Arkansas, Jacky!, The Pacers and many, many more. Other than his music, James has also ran production and
mixed for bands like Ronnie McDowell, Billy Joe Royal, Confederate Railroad, The Kentucky Headhunters, and Andy
Griggs just to name a few. Being a seasoned pro and also just a great person, James will give his all to entertain and play
music that will make people happy.
