that, during a domestic dispute,
Davidson p u n c h e d t h e complainant in the face with a closed fist,
shoved h e r to t h e ground, and
a t t e m p t e d to choke t h e complainant, according to the arrest
report. Davidson's action resulted in physical injuries to the
complainant consisting of pain,
swelling, and minor bleeding to
h e r lip a n d foot, a n d h e w a s
t a k e n into custody without incident w h e r e Guilderland Town
Judge John Bailey issued a temporary "refrain from" order of
protection, the report-says.
Kent LaPointe, 32, of 2 Eastview Dr., Watervliet, was arrested on July 13, on Heritage
Road, for third-degree assault,

injury,

LaPointe was arrested on a complaint from a resident a t 10.4
Heritage Rd. who said he struck
the complainant on the left side
of the face, causing pain, bruising, and bleeding along with a
laceration to the complainant's
left bicep, according to the arrest
report. LaPointe was contacted

Police Station of his own accord,

for a n order of protection, the

on J u l y 23, for third-degree reporting a false crime and writing

in t h e 20 Mall p a r k i n g lot s a n
Altamont m a n is listed in serious condition a t Albany Medical
Center Hospital.
Alexander Tolmie, 19, of 122
W e s t e r n Ave., j u m p e d onto a
motorcycle around 5:30 Monday
evening, t h e n lost control a n d
crashed in t h e JQunkin' Donuts
parking lot, according to Guilderland Police.
"He got onto t h e motorcycle
without t h e owner's permission,
put it in gear and opened up t h e
throttle," said Lieutenant Curtis
Cox of t h e Guilderland Police.
"He hit a parked car, losing control of t h e bike a n d h i t t i n g a
curb, and t h e n c r a s h e d into a
parked CDTA bus."
The CDTA bus was pulled up
side-by-side w i t h a n o t h e r b u s
while the drivers were talking to
each other, Cox told The Enterprise.

were both ticketed on July 24, at

Avenue, for unlawful possession
of marijuana, a violation, a n d

a passenger, and, during a roadside interview, police saw marij u a n a "shake" on Fogel's shirt,

s e a r c h of h i s v e h i c l e , police
found one plastic b a g of marij u a n a a n d c-ne glass pipe cont a i n i n g m a r i j u a n a , w h i c h belonged to Fogel, the report says.

Birchwood St., Guilderland, was
arrested on Aug. 5, on Western
Avenue, for driving while intoxicated, with prior conviction and
operating a motor vehicle with a
blood alcohol content of .08 percent or g r e a t e r , b o t h felonies,
and operating a motor vehicle
with a suspended registration, a
m i s d e m e a n o r . Guilderland Police saw W a t t s with his vehicle
stuck on a curb in the rear of the
Dunkin' Donuts parking lot with
it r u n n i n g and in reverse while
h e was sitting on the curb next
to it. While interviewing Watts,
police saw signs of intoxication
a n d s m e l l e d alcohol on h i s
breath and Watts stated t h a t he
h a d driven his vehicle to t h e
p a r k i n g lot from t h e Tailgate
Tavern a n d w a s driving home
and h a d not h a d a n y t h i n g to
d r i n k since r u n n i n g over t h e
curb, according to the arrest report. W a t t s w a s given a fieldsobriety test, which h e failed,

t h e accident, b u t did not give
Tolmie permission to ride t h e
vehicle, police say. Tolmie was
not wearing a helmet.
Cox said h e believes Tolmie
suffered s u b s t a n t i a l h e a d injuries during the accident.
The investigation is ongoing
a n d f u t u r e c h a r g e s m a y be
pending, according to Guilderland Police.
