PERMIT NO. 34
God shows up in marvelous ways! I could
continue this newsletter with praise after praise
that has occurred since our last newsletter. I will
go ahead and just point out a couple of praises
that are specifically laid on my heart to address:

Abigail Pregnancy Services has begun to film on Life Matters,
which is a tv show filmed out of Castalia as a production of
the WGGN Christian radio station. We will be filming on
episodes that showcase our parenting program, adoption
experience, being medically advised to abort, and we have
confirmed one of Ohio’s Representatives to appear. God has
brought all the puzzle pieces together with great guests to
accompany the topics that this life-saving show will cover.
We can now offer a parenting class with a specialist in the
field of nutrition to speak about prenatal nutrition to our
clients. This will replace the dvd we formerly used to show.
A live speaker will help engage our clients while offering a
more interactive learning environment during this parenting
session.
We have been blessed with so many diapers from local
individuals, churches, and business that we can amply
supply our clients’ needs! We can additionally add a tripleportion blessing to our clients that have small babies
(compared to what we normally could have provided).
A couple of our board members have got together to plan Abigail

Pregnancy Services’ First Afternoon Tea fundraiser! We are looking forward to having an afternoon tea to benefit this ministry.
Volunteer Spotlight
That is just a short list of what God has been doing within this
ministry, but we are honored to know that He is continuing to
finish the good work that He had started within this ministry 25
years ago. What I love about this list is that none of these blessings are necessarily done in our strength. It is God who is bringing the right people to us, supplying our needs, and giving us the
creative ideas to strengthen the ministry. Even while we are off
of work and not thinking about the ministry, He is still working
on our behalf and bringing all these missing pieces together.
Abigail is pleased to introduce you to
our new volunteer peer counselor, Lisa
Smith. Lisa heard about Abigail when
her home church, The Chapel (North)
included our information in a missions
fair. She knows first hand about the
fears a teen mom can face, and it is her
desire to use her experience to bring
hope to others facing the same situation. Lisa has a sense of
peace and calm about her that will be so beneficial to our
clients! She says that she enjoys being at the center and
watching how the staff uses their strengths and life
experiences to help others. She likes the fellowship, sense of
unity, and servitude that our staff enjoys.
“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within
you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day
when Christ Jesus returns.” Philippians 1:6
