Please have trash and recyclables curbside by 7 AM.
The recycling and holiday calendar is enclosed.
Trash
• All trash must be bagged before being placed in the toter (no construction material).
• Any overflow trash must be in a Holden blue overflow bag. Trash will not be picked up
outside the blue toter unless it is in a blue overflow bag. Casella requests that the
overflow bags not be heavier than 50 lbs, as they are lifted by hand.

Recycling

Recyclables do not need to be sorted in separate containers. They can all be tossed into the
green toter.
Any overflow recycling can be in any open container (no lids!). Casella requests that the
overflow containers not be heavier than 50 lbs, as they are lifted by hand.
Items acceptable for recycling:
Paper: Magazines, catalogs, newspapers,
telephone and soft cover books, junk mail
& envelopes, paper (all colors - paperclips
and staples okay), paperboard (cereal/shoe
boxes), milk/juice cartons, cardboard and
brown paper bags.
Plastic: (Must be rinsed clean) Food and
beverage containers labeled 1-7, soda,
juice and water bottles, milk jugs, bleach/
detergent/shampoo bottles, food containers (cottage
cheese/margarine/yogurt), glass bottles and jars
(any color), aluminum (pie plates/trays/foils), metal
food & beverage cans (tin/steel/aluminum).
Not Acceptable: Plastic bags and recyclables in
plastic bags, recyclables containing food or other
contaminates (i.e., greasy pizza boxes), styrofoam,
laundry baskets, toys, chairs, dishes, Pyrex,
ceramics, pot/pans, aerosol cans, windows, and light
bulbs.
Appliances, electronics, or other non-burnable bulk items are scheduled by Casella for a fee
