June 18th – Dress like a Superhero Day
Come to the library to get all of your Superhero gear,
masks, shields, and more. Bring an old oversized
t-shirt and we will help you transform it into a cape.
June 25th – Police Fight Crime
Learn about what Police do on the job and make
some police themed crafts.
July 2nd – Save the City!!
Help a local artist build a city for our superhero to
protect.

July 9th – Firefighters Fight Flames
Today is all about Firefighters. Go inside a fire truck,
hear stories from firefighters, and make some
firefighter themed crafts.
July 16th – Performer Randy Peterson
Rock out with Randy Peterson at his “Searching for a
Super Hero” show.
July 23th – Entertainer Jim Lenz
Jim mixes magic with science in his “Find the
Superhero in You” program.
July 30th – Superhero Training
Do you have the same skills as superheroes do? Find
out by doing these activities.
August 6th – Summer Send Off
*Invitation Only
Children who finish the Summer Reading Program
will be invited to our end of the summer party. They
will be able to see who won the grand prizes, make
some crafts, and enjoy a tasty treat.

Lively, interactive stories, songs, and activities
for the creepers, crawlers, walkers, and
talkers. Will encourage early language and
literacy development. Birth – 2 years old
with participating adult.
Who’s a Hero Story Time
Tuesdays @ 6:15 - 7:00pm
Wednesdays @ 9:30 - 10:15am
Thursdays @ 10:00 - 10:45am
Registration Required
Join us for stories, songs, finger plays, interactive
activities, and crafts. Family story time is for
caregivers and children ages 2-6. Begins June
16th and runs through July 30th. Themes
include firefighters, garbage men, and more.
Sky High Lego Builders
Tuesdays @ 1:30 - 2:30pm
June 16th - July 28th
Registration Required
Come build with us! Each Tuesday from
1:30-2:30pm we will provide Legos and a
new theme to inspire your build. Sign up
begins each Wednesday.
Mega Movie Madness
Wednesdays @ 1:30 - 3:30pm
June 17th - July 29th
No Registration Required
Watch a movie on the big screen with popcorn
and juice that will be provided. Call ahead
for titles.
S ummer R eading
P rogram G uidelines
• Registration for the Summer Reading Program
begins as soon as we visit your child’s school
or June 1st at the library. You will receive
your reading record slip and a free book just
for registering.
• Read on your own or have someone read to
you.
• Each reading record slip has 11 activities to
choose from. You must complete 8 activities
and 6 must be reading. Have a parent initial
after each activity is completed.
• When all 8 activities are completed bring your
reading record slip into the library to receive
either a free book or a coupon to a local
business and a new reading record slip.
• Participants who complete all 6 slips will be
entered into the grand prize drawing and
invited to the party on August 6th.
• The program ends July 31st. All cards must be
turned in by July 31st to receive a prize and
to enter into the grand prize drawing.
