Through the 13 years she has been at East Lake Nursing &
Rehabilitation Center, Annie has been very caring and compassionate
to residents and staff.
Annie has a very calm demeanor that helps her excel as a charge nurse on the
second shift of the Moving Forward unit. Annie handles multiple admissions and discharges every week and
every one of the residents has been so complimentary of her and how she pays attention to their needs and
cares for them.
Annie is a team player doing whatever she can to help our residents and staff. It is not unusual for her to be
seen working as a CNA, if needed. Her love of her job is contagious. Annie is a true inspiration to everybody
she works with.
“I love taking care of the elderly,” she said. “For me it is not a job, it is a calling. Being able to give back to
them through caring and love is the most important thing about this calling.”
Annie is proud to be a born again Christian. She and her husband, Paul, have been married for 10 years and
they have two children, Jeiel, age 8, and Elishianna, who is 5. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, swimming
and fishing.
Above all, she says, she loves taking care of the elderly.
