Administrative expenses increased from RM10.2m to RM26m in Q2 FY2016 due to consolidation of Symmetri Group at higher costs during 6-month transition period, forex loss, charge on share award and professional fees incurred for a special review. Income tax expense rose due to higher withholding tax and taxable income, contributing to marginal decline in net profit. Ongoing efforts to cross sell products and services of Symmetri and streamlining to improve efficiency and reduce costs post transition will benefit Group from Q4 FY2016.
