relatingto agriculturalfarmingand culturalsite land management.
We havebeen
involvedin the pastcommunityconsultation
throughthe localCMA, learningabout
environmental
mattersandotherissues.
As Malley Cliffs StateForestNSW, to whichthe ILC currentlyhavea Occupation
PermitovercertainareasandILC presentlyownsCulpraStationandaccordingto
theirpolicies,as it intendsto divesttitle in the nearfutureto CulpraMilli Aboriginal
Corporation.
Overthe pastthreeyearswe havebeeninvolvedin specificmappingandrecordingof
culturalsiteson Malley Cliffs andCulpraland,this hasbeendonewith the supportof
our localCMA andthatthis wouldbecomepart of our futureendeavors,
workingwith
othergroupsandto managethe forestryin a sustainable
mannerincludingits
biodiversities,
animalsandotherplantspecies.
We havebeeninvolvedin the allocationsof environmental
waterfor thesurvivalof
red-gumsalongthe TarpaulinCreekCulpraStationandMalley Cliffs StateForest,we
haveseentheresultsof whatwatermeansto thered-gumsandotherplantspecies
particularly,in timesof drought.
It is from the historyof humanoccupationof this very ancientlandandriver country
which extendsbeyondjustsix thousandyears.Thevery conceptsofsocial and
culturalwellbeingarelinkedto thephysicalandspirituallandscape
with its ever
changingseasonal
influenceof the landits environment..
