As the possessor of spraying equipment tested under the National Sprayer Testing Scheme
(NSTS) I have elected not to have the water used during the testing of the equipment
collected by the NSTS Examiner.
I am familiar with the requirements of the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales)
Regulations 2010 and the advice and codes of practice issued by the Environment Agency
and DEFRA (or equivalent provisions and guidance for Scotland, Northern Ireland and Eire). I
confirm that I have the necessary permit or exemption to dispose of pesticide washings and
will dispose of the water used during testing in accordance therewith. I hereby indemnify the
NSTS and NSTS tester against involvement in any civil action or prosecution that may result
from the disposal of water used in testing my equipment.
