Delusion – noun - a belief that is not true: a false idea
Denounce – verb - to publicly state that someone or something is bad or
Defy – verb - openly resist or refuse to obey
This week’s assignment: (by Wednesday) You will create a vocabulary playlist. Choose a song to go with
each vocabulary word, based on the meaning of the word. Here are some examples using last week’s
words:

Contempt – “You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch” (from the movie)

Convey – “The Wheels on the Bus”
