for a successful catering experience.
Surdyk’s Catering provides delicious, seasonal, globally inspired food for life’s
everyday occasions and its most important gatherings. At Surdyk’s we’ve made
entertaining our business for over 80 years, and it’s safe to say we’ve learned a thing
or two along the way about throwing amazing parties. In 2014 Surdyk’s became
the exclusive caterer at Northrop, bringing our passion for outstanding food and drink
to the University of Minnesota campus. We’re pretty thrilled to be back to school.
Whether you’re in need of catering for a long day of meetings, a cocktail reception, or a formal dinner for the most
distinguished guests, Surdyk’s Catering has the flair and know-how to make it memorable and delicious.
THE FOOD
Our menu items are made from scratch in our NE Minneapolis kitchen. Inspired by our love of travel, the ever changing
seasons, and the relentless pursuit of the perfect sandwich, our Culinary Team never settles on a fixed menu of offerings.
Each month our team takes note of the local, seasonal bounty, factors in the weather, and puts together an of-the-moment

THE DRINK
Surdyk’s has been in the liquor business since the repeal of Prohibition, so it’s safe to say we’ve got this part covered. Our
staff of wine, beer, and spirits consultants aren’t just passionate about libations, they are experts in their fields. We believe
the bar should be as fabulous as the food, so we’ve brought in off-beat, interesting selections of wine from around the
world as well as local, craft beers, and top shelf spirits to add that extra level of panache to your soirée. Having a daytime
event? We’ve got you covered with locally roasted, organic coffee and specially-crafted soft drinks.
THE SERVICE
Customer service has always been a cornerstone of the Surdyk’s experience. From menu planning to the final clean up,
our in-house Catering Team and is here for you every step of the way, bringing expertise, passion, and professionalism to
your table. Our staff is experienced, certified, and trained to make the logistics of your event run seamlessly. Our goal is to
take care of the details so you can enjoy the company of your guests.
