Toasty PLUS Pot Holder
Pattern
Description
These pot holders feature a simple stranded colorwork design
worked in the round on one set of 32” circular needles. The strands
carried along the round on the interior of the pot holder provide
even more protection for your hands as you bake cookies or grab
pot handles.

cAst on directions
With Blue and Judy’s Magic Cast On, cast on 80 sts (40 sts on each
needle).
Round 1
With Blue, knit one row.
Round 2
Place marker at the beginning of round and begin working chart
pattern in the round using Blue to work all blue squares and Swan to
work the white areas of the chart.
Work rows 1-12 of chart once
Work rows 3-12 twice.
Work rows 13-16 once.
Break Swan, leaving a 6” tail. Knit two rows in Blue.
Finishing
Weave in Swan end in the interior of the pot holder. Cut the Blue
leaving a 40” tail. Use the darning needle and long tail, work
a kitchener stitch to close the top. Weave in tail and block to
measurments.
