discussed during the Dollars and Sense course. Your song should be original, creative and
free of errors.

Identifying the most important parts of your assigned subject
Working cooperatively in pairs to create your song

the performance.

End of Quarter Project 2015
For this assignment, you will also be creating a video. Each member of
your group will need to take an active role in the process of creating
the video.
A successful and compelling video project takes work, but anyone can learn. Whether creating a
video for a class assignment, thesis, professional use, or just out of personal expression and
interest, it not only take active planning, but also require follow through and collaboration until
the video is completed.
Your goal in this presentation is to:
(Organizing, Prioritizing, Goal Setting)
Inform the world about tools and techniques the topic you chose from 2nd quarter’s
discussions.
Explain how the tips could directly affect life (positively and negatively).
Propose action, sharing what people could do next (after listening to your
presentation/watching your video) if they are interested in the tips and suggestions.
Process Overview
1. Start-No better place to begin.
2. Plan & Prep-Every video project starts on paper. Make time to generate
some good ideas, find your story, and write out a script to guide your production
process. Visit "Plan It" for help and useful tips.
3. What training will you need?-Cameras, editing software, script-writing,
room access -- at some point you'll need training. Visit the Produce It section for
guidance on what kind of training you may need, and how you can get it.
4. Gather & Produce-This is the state during which you record what needs
recording and collect what you won't be creating yourself. You may return to this
stage throughout your editing process.
5. Edit-Editing takes a while. Give yourself at least TWO WEEKS to edit -never wait until the night before! For guidance on what program(s) to use to
create your video, visit the "Produce It" section.
6. Finalize-Always ask for feedback before you finish up your project -- your
peers can offer lots of insights where your editor's eye has grown weary. Also,
where is your project going? Youtube? DVD? Visit "Produce It" for guidance on
publishing your completed project.

the area that are interested in your topic or struggling with
similar challenges (organizing, prioritizing).
Visual Aids: Required. Use as many visual aids as needed
to assist audience understanding of your topic.
Research: If you use visuals from another source, provide a
caption or footnote that indicates source. If you use
information from another source, like an article or website,
make sure you list that source in the slide footnote or at a
slide at the end of the presentation. Make it easy for your
viewers to go back and find the source for every piece of
information that you share.

visual (slides, video, or other) and auditory (narration)
aspects. You will upload the full online presentation to
