Justin is located at the intersection of FM 407
and FM 156, five miles north of Texas Motor
Speedway. The City of Justin is well-known for
western appeal, small town charm and the bustling
railroad. Established in 1887, Justin and the
surrounding area became a center for farmers and
ranchers. The city has grown tremendously since
its establishment and is still an active agriculturalbased community.
Justin is in close proximity to the Dallas/Ft. Worth
area and offers a rural landscape with plenty of
parks for residents to enjoy. The downtown area
offers shopping and dining options. Justin may be
known as the boot capital of the western world, but
this town has a lot more to offer.

Parks & Recreation
The City of Justin has several parks. Justin
Community Park is the largest one. This park
offers a baseball field, soccer field, playground and
running trails. In May 2014, the Justin community
development board funded a new concession stand
and the Lions Club donated a flag pole to the newly
renovated park. Justin has four other parks in our
surrounding area: Bishop Park, Meadow Lands,
Reatta Ridge and Talley Park. Each park offers a fun
and safe environment for families.

Justin Fun Days is an annual FREE two-day event
held by the City of Justin at Community Park. It
brings in all the locals to come enjoy what Justin is
all about!
The event starts on Friday evening with a BBQ
cook-off and 5K run, along with a concert in the park
featuring various Texas Country artists. Saturday
includes activities for kids of all ages, a car show,
mutton busting, bull riding, live music and hundreds
of vendors. Join us the first weekend of June for a

Annual Old Fashioned Christmas
Celebration - December
The Old Fashioned Christmas Celebration
begins with a parade that starts at City Hall and
travels through 2nd, Sealy and 5th Streets. The
Christmas celebration brings everyone in from the
community to enjoy the small town charm Justin
offers. After the parade, everyone gathers around
the tree to sing Christmas carols with the Justin
Elementary choir. Following the tree lighting, the
event continues in the gymnasium with ice skating,
crafts, cookies and hot chocolate.
